Ermittlung der Umschlagleistung von Hochregallagern unter Berücksichtigung lagerorganisatorischer Rahmenbedingungen

Abstract

Inventory turnover, storage space and storage costs are the most significant parameters of warehouse systems. Influencing factors on the turnover can be divided into technical and organisational parameters. While for technical parameters a number of guidelines and standards of calculation exist, organisational parameters are only specified in individual cases or analysed in simulation models. This article will introduce a method which allows the calculation of warehouse turnover in consideration of selected organisational conditions with the help of simulation databases. The generalised simulation output can be transferred to any high bay warehouse by using a calculation program. This calculation requires no other software than MS Excel.
