Abstract

This paper presents feasible and realistic designs for the daily use of vertical, horizontal and slightly tilted high-capacity screw conveyors in mass good transshipment. The design of vertical screw conveyors was verified by means of performance measurings at two industrial reference plants and the calculations showed good results.
