Abstract

This paper presents the results of a survey of German companies regarding the application status and planning of Machine Learning (ML) for logistic tasks. The companies were surveyed in April/May 2020 regarding their level of knowledge, information needs and application in the topic area of ML. The survey was conducted with an online questionnaire. The article describes the study design and the questions asked. The results of the survey are then presented and discussed.
