Abstract

A user-optimized information provision for order pickers systems using smart glasses is often discussed in the current research discussion as well as at exhibitions and conferences. Whether an augmented reality-based order picking system is suitable for use in the field of food retail logistics is examined by an utility analysis. The 1:1 comparison between Pick-by-Vioce and Pick-by-Vision shows a higher benefit of Pick-by-Vision picking system.
